West Vancouver Dundarave
One of the more established areas of West Vancouver, this charming seaside stroll is full of artisan shops, groceries and restaurants. Located one block off the water, this portion of Marine Drive lies just west of its sister village, Ambleside. Walk along the street and down to the pier where the world famous Beach House restaurant lies at the end of the West Vancouver seawalk. A day on the beach here includes fabulous views of downtown Vancouver, Stanley Park and the UBC / Point Grey peninsula. Views of Vancouver Island are also breathtaking and it’s a great place to wave at the passing cruise ships as they head north to Alaska during the summer. Nearby residents enjoy ocean life at its best, which means we get our fair share of Hollywood celebs living here too.
