West Vancouver Horseshoe Bay
Often called the Village of Horseshoe Bay, this westernmost point of the municipality is picturesque and perfect. Home to the BC Ferries Horseshoe Bay terminal, many travellers and tourists come through here as they venture to places like Nanaimo, Victoria, Bowen Island and the Sunshine Coast (Gibsons, Sechelt). Boats are everywhere here so it’s never boring, and if you’re looking to rent a boat, then go to Sewell’s Marina for an afternoon of fun. A small beach sits at the town center which is encircled by small stores and lots of places to eat and explore. Be sure to take the cut-off from Hwy 1 (Upper Levels) before the Whistler exit and follow the signs.
