Cypress Mountain is to the extreme north, (but only 20 minutes from the beaches), providing excellent hiking and biking in the summer months and skiing and snowboarding in the winter. The snow sports here are so good that Cypress hosted some 2010 Winter Olympics events, along with Whistler Mountain.

Horseshoe Bay is more than just a BC Ferry port, it hosts a family run marina and boat rental business that has been in West Van for three generations. Take a day trip up the coast and around our shoreline to discover beaches and trails waiting to be enjoyed.

If shopping is on your mind, Park Royal Shopping Centre was Canada’s first shopping mall and continues to expand with an open Village and new additions that offer up both Canadian, American and international clothing designers. Many well-know brands and labels are here with everyday names too.
