The Coho Festival celebrates the return of the Coho Salmon to the rivers and streams of the North Shore.
The 2014 Coho Festival will be held in Ambleside Park on September 7 from 11am to 6pm. Thousands of people attend this annual event to to enjoy free entertainment and the famous salmon barbecue.
The Coho Festival kicks off with the famous 14K Coho Run to Ambleside Park in West Vancouver. Watch the runners cross the finish line, then attend a Squamish Nation blessing of the salmon followed by live entertainment and a salmon barbecue.

Coho Walk Capilano River Regional Park, 10am to 2pm. Follow the journey of salmon from Capilano Salmon Hatchery to the ocean.
Enjoy performers and discovery stations along the 4.5-kilometre walk from Cleveland Dam in a circuit to the Cleveland Dam, or hike the entire 8.5-kilometre trail to Ambleside Park.
