BSI Canada is hosting a breakfast in Vancouver on Tuesday, October 23 to unveil a new energy management standard and a report that benchmarks the performance of certified companies across the globe.
A special presentation will introduce training for ISO 50001, a new energy management standard. With the global threat of energy shortages and rising costs, this new standard helps companies implement the structure needed to make measurable improvements in energy performance.
The standard will also help implement the processes necessary to understand baseline energy usage, put in place action plans, targets and energy performance indicators for reducing consumption and identify, prioritise, and record opportunities for improving energy performance.
At the breakfast BSI will also unveil The Excellerator, a report highlighting the key findings from the audit of thousands of ISO 9001 management systems.
