In 2001, blues singer John Hammond released Wicked Grin, a collection of songs written by his friend, the musical icon Tom Waits, with Waits at the helm as producer. In an exclusive performance for two nights only in Metro Vancouver, Hammond, along with award-winning blues musician Jim Byrnes, Los Lobos star David Hidalgo, jazz chanteuse Jill Barber, music director Steve Dawson, and the Black Hen house band will revisit the album and other memorable music of one of the most distinctive songwriters of our time.
