BC Uncorked was created by West Coast Experiences as a way to support an amazing charity in the community and encourage local wine and food lovers to experience the best BC has to offer.
This year we celebrate the 10th anniversary of BC Uncorked, which has expanded and grown considerably since 2007. The venue at the Westwood Plateau Golf & Country Club has proven to be a great fit for this event. This unique West Coast inspired building encourages the enjoyment of an indoor tasting tour of BC’s finest wineries, and local restaurants and caterers.
The upcoming March event features wines from over 45 select BC wineries, matched with intriguing foods provided by 8-10 of the best local restaurants and caterers. BC Uncorked is thrilled to partner with Team Taylor of the Ride to Conquer Cancer.
The Ride to Conquer Cancer, presented by Silver Wheaton, benefits the BC Cancer Foundation. This is a unique two-day cycling event slated for the summer of 2018. During this bold cycling journey, members will ride for two days through picturesque scenery with a clear vision: a world free from cancer.
The BCU team is excited to welcome a number of new BC wineries who have not been featured at a previous festival! Some wineries include; BC Wine Studio, Burrowing Owl, Enrico Winery, Evolve Cellars, Harper’s Trail, Haywire, Indigenous World Winery, Play Winery, and the Rust Wine Company.
We’re also thrilled to welcome the team at Marquis Wine Cellars who will be operating an online wine store!
During the event guests will have the opportunity to support the Ride to Conquer Cancer initiatives with 100% of proceeds raised going to Team Taylor.
The silent auction this season will feature unique and exciting offers including many items from some of your favourite wineries and restaurants!
The wine wall is an opportunity to walk away with an incredible bottle of wine. For a $25 donation guests will “win” a bottle of wine valuing anywhere from $18 to $60! Every donation guarantees a win.
