My name is Lisa Stalham. I am a North Shore mom of two and I have joined Team in Training to run my first marathon as a fundraiser for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. My nephew, Matthew, was recently diagnosed with Leukemia and I want to show support, increase awareness, and raise money for a cure.
Please join us on June 10th for our biggest-yet fundraising event when we come together to sample great food, enjoy live music by Mark and Lorna Fortin, have fun, and raise some money to find a cure for blood cancers and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.
We’ll be having an Early Bird Prize Draw so consider coming along after work and hanging out with us (we’ll be there at 4:30)! There will be fantastic food, live music, and door prize draws throughout the evening. Bids for the silent auction will be taken from 4:30 until 8:30 when we’ll announce the winners. Raffle winners and other door prizes will follow that so we hope you will stick around!
A Canadian is diagnosed with a blood cancer every 28 minutes. The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s mission is to find a cure. Every dollar counts.
