Earth Walk is a great opportunity to uncover the little known resources in the forests and waterways and learn how to transform them into clothing, blankets, shelters and food.
Leading the walk, first Nations educator and weaver Tracy Williams is from a long line of Squamish basket makers. Her work was worn by Squamish leaders at the 2010 Olympic Ceremonies.
Earth Walk begins on May 15th with two more walks on July 10th and August 28th. Tickets for each walk are $15 and $35 for the series of three.
