Set in Fawlty Towers, a fictional hotel in Torquay, England, we find the rather rude and eccentric owner Basil Fawlty and his bossy wife Sybil. Working for them are the charming chambermaid Polly and the hapless Spanish waiter Manuel. We see them trying to run the hotel amidst many farcical situations with an array of demanding and surprising guests. Theatre West Van is proud to present three of the twelve episodes – Waldorf Salad, The Hotel Inspector and Communication Problems.

Still seen regularly on television in many countries, this well-loved British sitcom was produced by the BBC in 1975 and in 2000 was named by industry professionals as the best British series of all time.
