Join us for an intimate evening of Brazilian jazz in the Kay Meek Centre’s studio theatre. Born in France, raised in Brazil and now living and working in Portugal, the eclectic and mesmerizing Pierre Aderne brings together all his worlds in his music. He evokes the beaches of Rio with his sensuous voice and delivers classic bossa nova grooves through his sensitive guitar playing with a modern, French influence that leaves you wanting more. Joining Pierre is acclaimed Portuguese classical-turned-jazz pianist, Júlio Resende whose passion for improvisation has led him to newly incorporate Portuguese fado into his artful playing.
