Launching the Orange Door Project May 29 and throughout June, Home Depot Stores across North America will be raising money to help put an end to youth homelessness. During the campaign, customers at Park Royal’s Home Depot store can purchase a “paper door” for a $2.00 donation and all proceeds raised will come to Hollyburn Family Services Society’s North Shore Youth Safe House.
Last year the North Shore Youth Safe House supported over 150 youth. Sadly close to 200 were turned away because the facility had reached capacity. Because of community and private donations Hollyburn Family Services Society was able to increase the capacity, better meeting the needs of homeless youth.
