From Georgia and Broughton To Howe and Davie

The Santa Claus Parade starts at 1:00 pm!

The Parade is in downtown Vancouver, located just blocks from the Burrard, City Centre, Granville and Waterfront SkyTrain stations.

The Parade starts at Georgia and Broughton, travels east on Georgia to Howe, turns south on Howe, and finishes at Howe and Davie (1.8km)

The Parade has over 300 volunteers every year. Thank you to all volunteers that came out to the 2013 Rogers Santa Claus Parade, as the parade would not be a success without your help.

Each year the Parade attracts 300,000 spectators to downtown Vancouver.

The Parade has more than 3,500 participants. This year’s Parade will feature more than 65 marching bands, choirs, festive floats, and community groups.

Is your organization looking to make a big impact this year? Looking for some great marketing, promotional and media exposure? From Holiday Kids sampling program to large festive floats, we have something for everyone.

The festivities begin at 10:30am with two and a half hours of family entertainment at the Coast Capital Savings Christmas Square in front of the Vancouver Art Gallery. Christmas Square includes the Food Bank drop-off zone, gingerbread decorating station, face painting, Letters to Santa station, balloon twisting, and an entertainment stage featuring several music and dance performances.

After the parade is done, Santa will head to Robson Square Ice Rink! Bring the kids down to have their picture taken with Santa Claus and enjoy some free ice skating.

The Parade is one of the largest food and fund raising events for the Greater Vancouver Food Bank Society. Since 2004, the Parade has collected $132,400 and more than 73,500 lbs. of food for hungry families in the Lower Mainland. On Parade day, we encourage spectators to bring a monetary or non-perishable food donation for the Food Bank. For each dollar donated, the food Bank can purchase three dollars worth of food.
