Habitat for Humanity Greater Vancouver is hosting an event in North Vancouver on Saturday, February 25th. On this night, people in North Vancouver will join thousands of others in 100+ cities across Canada in “The Coldest Night of the Year”, a 2km and 5km winter walk in support of those facing housing insecurity, hunger and hurt.

Our goal for our inaugural Coldest Night of the Year walk is to raise $30,000 with the support of 20+ teams and 150+ walkers. Ways to get involved: SPONSORSHIP | CREATE A TEAM | REGISTER AS AN INDIVIDUAL | VOLUNTEER

HFHGV serves families in our community through building safe, decent, and affordable housing for working families in the low-to-middle income range. We rely on partnerships with corporations, businesses, community groups, and volunteers to build affordably and are growing our inventory of homes exponentially. Building throughout the Lower Mainland and into the Fraser Valley, HFHGV has a new home planned in North Vancouver (part of the Anthem project on Mount Seymour Parkway). Over the lifetime of our current Habitat homes, more than 500 families and over 1500 children will have their futures forever changed.
