On Monday, April 4, The Cultch will host an extraordinary gala fundraiser with an evening of French food, music, and memories of mid-Twentieth Century Paris and all its decadence. Proceeds from the gala will support community education and outreach projects for youth and their families, including the annual IGNITE! Youth Arts Festival, as well as The Cultch’s award-winning programming of contemporary music, theatre and dance.
The Catered Champagne Reception – 6:30 PM: The champagne reception will feature hors d’oeuvres catered by Pied Ã Terre, champagne cocktail maison, and silent auction bidding.
The Performance at 8:00 PM: The performance begins with musical selections performed by Jessie Award Winner Joalle Rabu, with readings by Barbara-Jo McIntosh from her book Cooking For Me and Sometimes You and A Parisienne Romance with recipes. The presentation of 2010-2011 Seat Tributes and select live auction lots with commence following the performance.
The Reception: Patisserie, Coffee & Dancing at 9:15 PM: The evening culminates in the Vancity Culture Lab with patisserie from Thierry and coffee, complimented by live music, dancing, and games of chance.
