Participate in the Vancouver Scenic City MS Bike Tour on August 10th! Riders of all ages and skills are welcome to join our 15km, 30km, and 60km routes around the city. From beautiful heritage residential neighborhoods to breathtaking waterfront bikeways, the tour offers participants the chance to explore Vancouver while supporting a wonderful cause!

To take part in the event, riders must collect pledges of a minimum 75$ for youth cyclists and 300$ for adults. The money raised helps fund MS research, as well as vital services for people living with MS.

About the MS Society of Canada

Since our founding in 1948, the core support of the MS Society has been from tens of thousands of dedicated individuals, companies and foundations in communities across Canada who are committed to ending MS.

The MS Society has a membership of 25,000 and is the only national voluntary organization in Canada that provides both services to people affected by MS as well as funds research to find the cause and cure for this disease.

Governed by a Board of Directors comprised of 13 volunteer members who are elected annually, the MS Society is made up of seven regional divisions and over 100 chapters. An estimated 13,500 people volunteer for program support, fundraising events, public awareness campaigns and social action activities.

When you raise money through an MS Society event, funds are invested into MS research and services for people living with MS across Canada.

Canadian researchers are making great strides toward a better understanding of why MS develops, how it progresses and how neurological disabilities might be prevented.

Below are a few examples of the services and programs your fundraising supports:

  • Financial assistance for special equipment and home care
  • Supportive counselling for all those affected by MS
  • Self-help groups and recreational programs for people with MS
  • Government advocacy for people living with MS

Check-in Time: 7:30am
