If you want to relax or are visiting on business, the options range from mountainside motor inns to ocean front accommodations, all with attractive rates always available to tourists and corporate guests.
Perhaps a Bed and Breakfast (B&B) is to your liking? There are some beautiful choices in West Vancouver. Luxury homes and condo apartments are also available, frequently catering to celebrities in the sports industry and movie business.
The BC Ferry terminal is also in our backyard, providing access to Vancouver Island and the Sunshine Coast. If you are on your way to world-famous Whistler and Blackcomb mountains, home of the 2010 Winter Olympics, you are just over one and a half hours away by car. Flying time is approximately twenty minutes. Both train and bus/coach service is also available.
Cypress Mountain, located on our northern slopes, also offers year round outdoor options and is located 15 minutes from West Van’s beaches. The scenery, dining choices, shopping, recreation and access to downtown, (just seven minutes away), make West Vancouver an attractive destination to visit both, for a short term stay and extended vacation.
