In partnership with the Mayor’s office and the West Vancouver Lawn Bowling Club, the West Vancouver Community Foundation is hosting the first annual Mayor’s Lawn Bowl in TECHNICOLOR.
We want to bring together the community in a hip and happening fun event which will engage our current Foundation donors as well as the next generation of sponsors, donors and committee members.
Come out for an afternoon of fun with Mayor Michael Smith and the West Vancouver community. Throw on your most colourful outfit and try your hand at lawn bowls – an entertaining afternoon for all!
The social scene afterwards will be all the buzz too starting at 6pm with hosts Mark Ballard and Catherine Barr making sure the music and fun doesn’t stop.
The tournament will be held at the West Vancouver Lawn Bowling Club, which was the recent venue of the Canadian National Lawn Bowling Championship.
Park Royal has stepped up as the title sponsor for this inaugural event with RBC and British Pacific Properties as platinum sponsors. All food and condiments for the barbecue are being donated by H.Y. Louie’s Fresh Street Market with the West Vancouver Lions Club tending to the barbecues.
