Thousands of families across British Columbia are affected by dementia, and now for the first time ever, anyone can help ensure that no one must climb this mountain alone. This year, the ninth annual Climb for Alzheimer’s fundraiser will be held as a province-wide challenge event. Participants can embark on trips ranging from 30-minute hikes to weeklong mountain treks in order to help reach the province-wide target of 70,000 kilometres.
There’s never been a better time to explore all the beauty the British Columbian wilderness has to offer. No matter the route you choose, each step you take supports the roughly 70,000 people living with dementia across the province. Carve your own path and start fundraising today! From September 11 -21, 2020.
