This year, The In the House Festival (ITHF) celebrates 10 years of community, creation, and culture! From June 7-9, 2013, the ITHF will be bringing over 70 arts and cultural performers to East Vancouver’s own backyard! The In the House Festival collaborates with community homeowners in the Victoria Dr. neighborhood to bring 20 festival shows to 13 in-home venues for an audience of over 1200 Vancouver residents of all ages and backgrounds.
In the House Festival an annual community festival that brings live performance to the people. Performances range from an array of music, storytelling, dance, circus, theatre and cabaret. Our goals are to create an awareness of the variety of performing arts in Vancouver, create more exposure for Vancouver-based artists in a unique and non-traditional way, strengthen the sense of belonging in our communities, and encourage cultural and environmental sustainability in Vancouver.
