In this workshop we will discuss possible liabilities that should be considered in your volunteer program and explore preventative measures that will help you minimize risk. We’ll look at time-tested procedures that will help Ensure that your volunteers will be actively engaged in a safe manner, including checklists and toolkits that you can start using immediately. We’ll explore some common myths unique to the volunteer sector that can add risk to your volunteer programs, and how to address them. We’ll approach this learning from three perspectives: the client, the organization and the volunteer.
