A gala fundraiser for the Ambleside Orchestra. This gala event—Serenade to Ambleside—is designed to showcase and celebrate local North Shore talent. The purpose of the event is to raise funds for the orchestra’s youth scholarships orchestra development programs.
Celebrated local composer Michael Conway Baker has written a piece, “Ambleside Serenade,” to mark the event. The concert also features 12-year-old West Vancouver pianist Augustin Wright, performing the Saint-Saëns Piano Concerto No. 2, First Movement.
The event includes a reception with complimentary wine and hors d’oeuvres, followed by the concert.
