‘Tis the season! Vancouver’s authentic European Christmas market will be lighting up Queen Elizabeth Plaza from November 21st until December 24th, 2015, bringing together one-of-a-kind food, gifts and fun for a complete Christmas experience.
With over 50 vendors, this year’s market is sure to have something for everyone. Unique handmade creations on offer include wooden toys, holiday ornaments, knitted goods and more. Traditional wooden huts, Herrnhut stars, and thousands of twinkling lights add to the holiday spirit.
Guests should be sure to come hungry, as the 2015 market will feature over 20 food vendors, the largest number ever! From German schnitzel to Scottish shortbread to Dutch mini pancakes, options include an array of old favourites and new flavours.
The beloved annual X-mas Factor singing competition, along with performances ranging from traditional European choirs to Christmas carols, will add to the yuletide experience. Parents are encouraged to bring the entire family-special activities like gingerbread decorating, the Star Seeker Scavenger Hunt, and Vancouver’s only Christmas carousel ensure kids and adults alike will have a blast.
