Top photographers of BC and the Yukon will go head to head with their best work at the 34th Annual North Shore Photographic Challenge. In addition to CAPA member club entries, the Challenge is open to entries from individual photographers.
Experience the cream of contemporary photography! The open-theme competition will include the latest digital techniques in abstracts and altered reality, classic landscapes, portraits, nature and architectural compositions, and gritty, funny street photography. Having grown in stature over thirty years, the Challenge is recognized as the premier photographic competition in Western Canada.
A panel of qualified judges will score the images. Winners will be recognized with prestigious CAPA medals.
Lucky audience members will take home photography-related door prizes, including equipment, accessories, and great courses donated by generous corporate sponsors.
Refreshments will be provided at intermission, during which audience members can vote for the People’s Choice Award of prints displayed in the lobby.
The Challenge is hosted by the North Shore Photographic Society.
