After temporarily suspending operations due to COVID-19, JW Marriott Parq Vancouver will reopen its doors on Saturday, June 27, 2020 just in time for Canada Day. The hotel’s associates welcome visitors to enjoy an elevated urban retreat in the heart of the city with three new package offers.
Implementing new safety procedures and technologies – and boasting over 60,000 square feet of flexible meeting and event space – the property also offers customizable packages for corporate meetings, intimate weddings and small events with up to 50 attendees.
Just steps away from a diverse mix of downtown Vancouver neighborhoods – that include Gastown, Yaletown, Chinatown and False Creek – the JW Marriott Parq Vancouver is perfectly located for visitors looking to explore the city. From open sky flightseeing and cycling city tours, to an expansive shopping district and an array of eclectic dining options, Vancouver offers the quintessential urban retreat. The hotel welcomes guests to explore the best of Vancouver with three new offers:
Stay longer, Save More Package – Guests who stay a minimum of 3 nights, save 25% on booking, using code D3Q.
Buy One, Get the Second at Half Off – Guests who book two rooms for the same dates, get the second room half off, using code BOG.
Experience Local Package – Guests are encouraged to experience Vancouver as a local with this package that includes daily self-parking, using code ZJL. One vehicle per registered room.
In-line with requirements from WorkSafeBC and the provincial government, the property has redefined its cleaning and safety standards through its Commitment to Clean. The new procedures have been developed by the Marriott Cleanliness Council, which consists of in-house and outside experts in food and water safety, hygiene and infection prevention, and hotel operations.
Advanced technology has been implemented embracing contactless guest service throughout the hotel through the Marriott BONVoY mobile app, which offers mobile check in, key, dining and chat. QR codes can be found throughout the hotel providing online menus, guest room information and additional guest services. The new safety protocols include rigorous and frequent cleaning of all surfaces, using hospital-grade disinfectants, with increased attention to public spaces and high traffic areas. Physical distancing measures have also been implemented, with hand sanitization stations installed throughout the resort. Upon arrival, guests are welcomed by associates wearing personal protection equipment.
