For years, I’ve been actively involved in local government and our community—serving on advisory committees, volunteering in West Vancouver, and speaking at Council on issues that matter. I’m running because I’m ready to build on that experience and bring a broad perspective to the Council table, shaped by a diverse career and personal experiences that have taught me resilience and the value of an open mind. I believe good leadership starts with listening, asking thoughtful questions, and understanding how issues are connected. It means weighing different perspectives, considering the evidence and being prepared to move things forward.
My approach is to balance community character, financial responsibility, environmental sustainability and accessibility—not as competing priorities, but as connected principles that help West Vancouver remain a community where people can thrive at every stage of life. West Vancouver is a special place and I believe we can protect what we value while continuing to evolve as a community. I see opportunities to plan thoughtfully, make practical improvements and prepare for the future.
