Honour a Life, is a unique community remembrance ceremony hosted by North Shore Hospice & Palliative Project. The non-denominational event provides an opportunity for the community to remember loved ones and express their grief in a supportive environment. The ceremony includes a guest speaker, music and a candlelit walk to the memorial tree at the waterfront on 21st Street.
People of every age, at whatever stage of grief are welcome and grief counsellors and palliative care staff will have information on community bereavement support services available.
