Hockey star and Stanley Cup winner Sam Reinhart sure knows how to make a splash!
Today, the local hero brought the Cup home to West Vancouver in style, riding the waves in a Royal Canadian Marine Search and Rescue vessel.
Greeted by Mayor Mark Sager at Dundarave Pier, over 1,000 fans cheered as he hoisted the Cup high and took photos with families.
Sam, who scored an historic four goals in the Game 6 final to beat Edmonton 5-1, upheld a Cup tradition by also visiting with local firefighters, celebrating at the children’s hospital, and surprising the kids hockey team at his former club. He was also seen secretly sharing a special ‘Lady and the Tramp’ spaghetti kiss with his beloved at Giardino’s restaurant.
This is the Cup’s second consecutive trip here so far! So what’s next? Maybe an Olympic gold medal as he laces up the skates for Team Canada in 2026!
