Each summer Capilano University presents North Shore Jazz as part of the TD Vancouver International Jazz Festival in venues throughout the North Shore. The yearly line-up features an eclectic mix of stellar artists at venues including The BlueShore at Cap, Presentation House Theatre and the Kay Meek Centre plus free concerts at the Civic Plaza, Lynn Valley Village and the West Vancouver Memorial Library.
Billboard Magazine has called Jim Campilongo “an American treasure” and with The Brooklynites, Campilongo showcases his inimitable Telecaster-guitar virtuosity and songwriting accompanied by a fiery ensemble of frequent NYC collaborators including Luca Benedetti (electric guitar), Chris Morrissey (electric bass) and Russ Meissner (drums).
