Maxim Rysanov has established himself as one of the world’s best and most charismatic viola players. He performs in major concert halls worldwide with renowned conductors, orchestras and chamber partners. The past season was crowned with two performances at the BBC Proms Festival in London in the summer of 2010. He appeared first as part of the annual tour of the EUROPEAN UNION YOUTH ORCHESTRA (Berlioz Harold in Italy with Matthias Bamert). Additionally he closed the BBC Proms Festival together with the BBC SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA (Tchaikovsky Rococo Variations) at the iconic Last Night, which is watched and heard by millions worldwide.
