As a mother and North Shore resident, Arwa believes leadership starts with listening. She wants public life to be more accessible, honest and responsive to the people it serves, with a focus on practical solutions, accountability and meaningful community engagement.
Through her professional and community work, Arwa has built relationships across communities and worked with organizations on anti-racism, inclusion, belonging and creating more responsive and accessible spaces. Her work is grounded in the belief that people should not have to fight to be heard, understood or treated fairly.
Arwa is running for public office to bring her experience in immigration, leadership, community building and inclusion into public service and to help ensure that local voices are heard in the decisions that affect their lives.
