With social pressures for girls and youths at an all-time high and isolation causing increased mental health problems in young people, mentoring matters now more than ever. Every Spring at Big Sisters of BC Lower Mainland, we celebrate the impact mentorship has on inspiring vulnerable youth to achieve more. Join us at our annual Spring Lunch, presented by Scotiabank and Windsor Plywood Foundation and be part of igniting the potential of youth in the Lower Mainland. This year, we are delighted to host a panel of influential women who are thought leaders in their field to discuss how mentorship fosters resiliency. We welcome Anita Huberman, CEO, Surrey Board of Trade; Kathy Kinloch, President of BCIT and Tamara Vrooman, President and CEO, Vancouver Airport Authority with Tracey McVicaras, the Panel Moderator and Charmaine Crooks as the event MC. This event is always rewarding to participants and for the girls that need assistance throughout Greater Vancouver. https://www.bigsisters.bc.ca/events/spring-lunch
