Laudate Singers return to Celtic seas with songs from the British Isles
Six years ago, Laudate Singers performed a program “Songs of the British Isles”. Now we explore the British Isles again with madrigals from the English Renaissance, Byrd, move into the Edwardian era with Stanford, explore works by contemporary composers MacMillan, Jenkins and Whelan and premiere a brand new commission from our North Vancouver resident composer-in-residence, Emile Deedes-Vincke.
Come journey with us to England, Scotland, Ireland and Wales and time travel from the Renaissance to today.
