TEDxWestVancouverED’s theme of Rethinking Education will continue the conversation from our previous event in May 2013.
Our vision is to share the stories that challenge our mindsets, highlight innovations in our schools, showcase the power of education and inspire participants to rethink their perceptions around learning.
Through dialogue and presentation we are striving to create the appetite, vision and momentum for thoughtful change.
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx – where x means an independently organized TED event.
TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience.
The TED conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, like ours, are self-organized.
