Start your day off attending a traditional welcome figure blessing located by Village 8 Cinema and Starbucks in the centre of Whistler Village , visit the Village Square full of First Nation artist demonstrations and cultural performances children’s activities and afterwards head over to the Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Centre located in the Upper Village for their artisan market, daytime workshops, performance and guided tours.
Make sure not to miss the Spirit Within Evening; an event of First Nations cuisine, top visual artists, performances by traditional dance groups and hoop dancers and an Urban Lounge – featuring modern arts with an Aboriginal twist.
