Jordan Moore is a Sommelier and one of the head bartenders at Vancouver’s Yew Restaurant located at the Four Seasons Hotel. Wine is his main passion in life and he has created a seven week, down to earth approach, wine course geared towards the everyday consumer who enjoys wine on a regular basis. In this course, grape varieties, viticulture and wine making techniques are discussed as well as famous wine regions from around the globe. Upon completion you will no longer stand in the France or Italy section of the liquor store feeling intimidated and confused!
“These days, wine can be portrayed in a very pretentious manner and can be quite intimidating for most people”. A focus of Moore’s Wine Course is to get rid of all that, get down to the facts, and better enjoy one of Earth’s oldest, most popular beverages.
Legacy Liquor Store located in the beautiful and trendy Olympic Village, is one of B.C’s largest wine libraries. Jordan teaches the course in their private classroom and following each class; spends time assisting students choose wines that suit their palate!!
